He should definitely pretend to be unshifted! If she reappears and tries to claim her identity, it shouldn't be too hard for Trevor to use his new body to make her change her mind. ;)
This is one of the few times I actually enjoyed a great shift caption. Usually the moment I read those two words I immediately stop reading but I wanted to give you a try. I was very surprised. thumbs up!
To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of great shifts captions. I find them a little too "easy", if you know what I mean? I don't make that many, only when I think the image suits the context, and sometimes, I must admit, because I want to keep posting one caption a day ^^ They're a bit easier to make, imho.
